Why I serve: The Lord called me here! In the past I have always worked with little ones but the Lord started working on my heart and grew a love for working with teenagers.
Favorite Bible verse: Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,"
Fun fact: I can wiggle my nostrils without moving my nose or any part of my face!

Why I think having a student ministry in the church is beneficial: To build Godly relationships with students and point them to Christ! I read a statistic about how the percentage of students who remain faithful in their walk with Christ and stay in a local church jump exponentially when more than one adult speaks into their lives and models a faithful walk with Christ. We are also preparing students for life in the church. It is critical to model what that looks like.
