Why I serve: Student ministry helped me navigate middle and high school and helped me to make my faith my own. I learned so much from my days in student ministry and want to walk through life with our middle and high school students like my leaders did for me!
Favorite Bible verse: Philippians 4:6-8 - "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
Fun fact: I’ve been to 12/63 national parks and have a goal to see all of them!

Why I think having a student ministry in the church is beneficial: Being a student is hard! There is so much peer pressure and you’re learning how to make decisions on your own. I think having a mature Christian that has been in your shoes being able to guide you and hold you accountable is so important!
