Why I serve: I love working with this age group, many are just coming to know Jesus and they are energetic and coming into their own.
Favorite Bible verse: Psalms 139:13-14 - "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."

Why I think having a student ministry in the church is beneficial: Some students don’t get Bible lessons in school and they need more than just Sunday to grow in faith. The youth program allows for kids to learn about Jesus in a fun and age appropriate way. It also puts them with other believers that can help them grow in faith and their peers who have like minded beliefs.
