Hurricane Helene: Ways to Help

Southern Baptists are responding to ongoing critical needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The full scope of devastation from Hurricane Helene is being realized as the floodwaters recede. At least 150 deaths have been confirmed, and millions are still without power. The impact is widespread across multiple states in the Southeast.

Give Funding to Meet Needs Through the SBC's Send Relief

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) teams are rapidly deploying to serve these communities. More than twenty response sites have been activated across the region. Your gifts are supplying meals, water, temporary roofing, flood recovery supplies, and more for these sites.

Pray

  • Pray for multiple states’ Disaster Relief teams. With help from Send Relief, they are feeding hungry people, distributing supplies and beginning to help homeowners clean up debris.
  • Pray for churches in the area as they work to meet their neighbors’ needs and share the love of Jesus with storm-weary communities.
