2024 SMRBC Summer Internships

Interested in interning with SMRBC this Summer? Come join us and learn more about the ins and outs of ministry.

Interns will have the opportunity to join in prayer and planning for events, sit in on staff meetings, gather and prepare resources, lead in teaching and activities, and take part in leading at summer ministry activities. This summer we will be looking to fill two spots, a student ministry intern and a children's ministry intern. Ministry focus can be customized to some extent to the intern's interest, area of study, and calling.

DETAILS:

• Applicant must be at least 1-year removed from High School
• Internships will begin in late May or early June and will end after 10 weeks. (dates are flexible depending on applicant's schedule)
• Internship hours will be approximately 25 hours/week. A typical schedule would be Monday -Thursday, 9am - 3pm and Sunday 9am - 1pm - with some flexibility depending on ministry focus and event schedules.
• Internship will focus primarily either on Children's Ministry or Student Ministry.
• $3,500.00 (for the full 10 weeks - prorated depending on intern's final availability)
• Out-of-town applicants may inquire about a host home during their internship.
