COVID-19 Precautions and Guidelines

SMRBC has a number of precautions we're observing to both keep you safe as well as comply with instructions from our governor. Please take note of these and help us to continue to follow guidelines and maintain our ability to host worship services safely.

Attendees are asked to observe 6-foot social distancing while at SMRBC.

  • Please avoid gathering and chatting in groups in the foyer, hallways, aisles, doorways, or stairwells, where others must pass through
  • Please be patient and allow space between families on entry and exit
  • Even when chatting outside, please be aware of distancing between households

We are meeting in the Worship Center, seated every other row and with three seats between households. Seating in the Worship Center is available as available on a first-come first-served basis, while more overflow seating is available in room MP-1.

  • 9:30 worshipers in the Worship Center are asked to sit in the rows marked with "9:30".
  • 11:00 worshipers in the Worship Center are asked to sit in the rows marked with "11:00".
  • All attendees are requested to leave three seats between themselves and other households.

Many of our members will continue to stay home and worship with us online at 11:00 AM via our livestream.

  • We ask that if you are feeling sick or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, that you remain home and worship with us online.
  • We encourage all who have elevated risk factors for COVID-19 to remain home and be safe.

All attendees 5 and over are asked to wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth while in the building. If you do not have one, SMRBC can provide one at the church when you arrive. For more information about the mask requirement, as well as listed exceptions, you can read the full executive order at here on the governor's website.

No-touch hand sanitizer stations are provided at the front entrance as well as in the foyer.

Feel free to contact the church office at 804-672-6811 or with any questions.
