SMRBC is looking for a part-time Properties Manager capable of managing ongoing maintenance and improvements of SMRBC properties as well as general assistance to the ministries of the church.
This is an hourly position requiring, on average, 20-25 hours per week. Most weeks will follow a regular weekly schedule with onsite hours. Some flexibility with hours is available as needed to meet vendors or complete tasks.
Pay starts at $20/hour (potentially more depending on skills/experience).
Applicants should have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with staff and church members. They should have some knowledge, experience, and skill with light handyman duties including minor carpentry and minor mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical repairs. Finally, our properties manager will need to have a somewhat flexible schedule that allows regular weekly hours while still responding to urgent needs as they arise.
Responsibilities will include managing repairs, coordinating volunteer assistance, performing general maintenance and upkeep on the building, and managing janitorial services.
